Safety Requirements

The following safety requirements are applicable to all Freedom Wheels customers:

  • Minimum age = 8
  • All children (ages 8 – 16 inclusive) must be accompanied by a paying adult
  • Combined maximum weight of 190kg for all trike tours
  • Maximum weight of 110kgs for all bike tours
  • No intoxicated passengers allowed on the vehicles

For comfort, safety and enjoyment Freedom Wheels recommend all passengers wear the following:

  • Helmets (provided)
  • Jacket (provided)
  • Sunglasses (not provided – safety glasses available on request)
  • Long pants (not provided)
  • Enclosed shoes (not provided, and please no heels)

The staff and management of Freedom Wheels take all practicable steps to identify and minimise potential dangers. However, all passengers must follow our instructions and advice at all times. We reserve the right to withdraw any person who in our opinion is likely to endanger themselves, others or Freedom Wheels equipment.

All our chauffeurs have full accreditation with the Queensland Department of Transport.
