At Freedom Wheels, supporting BMX goes far beyond selling bikes and parts. We believe in investing in the future of the sport by supporting riders at every level—from young riders entering their first race to experienced competitors chasing state and national results.

Through the Freedom Wheels Team and the Radio Raceline WA Team, we are proud to support the growth of BMX in Western Australia while creating opportunities for riders to develop, compete and become part of a strong BMX community.

Freedom Wheels Team

The Freedom Wheels Team represents the history, values and community behind our business. Since Freedom Wheels was established in 2013, we have worked closely with riders and families throughout Western Australia, providing dependable support, honest advice and equipment that riders can trust.

Freedom Wheels has always been run by riders, for riders. Our experience comes from years spent racing, working on bikes, attending events and being actively involved in the BMX community. That real-world experience allows us to understand what riders need—not only from their bikes, but from the people supporting them throughout their BMX journey.

The Freedom Wheels Team brings together riders of different ages, experience levels and goals. From young sprocket riders lining up at the gate for the first time to experienced racers competing at State Series events, State Championships and National Championships, every rider is an important part of the team.

Our purpose is not simply to create the fastest team or collect the most trophies. We want to provide an environment where riders feel encouraged, supported and proud to represent Freedom Wheels. We believe confidence, sportsmanship, commitment and enjoyment are just as important as results on the track.

Team riders have the support of a trusted local BMX shop behind them throughout the season. We assist with bike setup, mechanical advice, race preparation, parts, equipment and ongoing support to help ensure every rider can compete safely and confidently.

Because Freedom Wheels operates a dedicated workshop, our riders also have access to experienced mechanical support for servicing, repairs, upgrades and complete race-bike builds. From helping a new rider find the correct setup to preparing an advanced race bike for a major event, we approach every rider with the same care and attention.

The Freedom Wheels Team is also about building friendships and creating a sense of belonging. Riders and families travel together, support one another at events and celebrate each other's progress—whether that means winning a final, reaching a personal goal or simply riding with more confidence.

Being part of the Freedom Wheels Team means representing more than a bike shop. It means representing a local family business, supporting the BMX community and helping create a positive environment for the next generation of riders.

Radio Raceline WA Team

Freedom Wheels is proud to work alongside BMX International to support the Radio Raceline WA Team, providing Western Australian riders with the opportunity to represent one of the world's leading BMX race brands.

BMX International has been part of Australian BMX since 1977 and is recognised as Australia's longest-running BMX wholesaler. Over nearly five decades, the company has supplied many of the sport's most respected brands while supporting riders, bike shops, clubs and events across the country.

Their history is closely connected to the growth of BMX in Australia. From the early years of the sport through to modern international-level racing, BMX International has continued to invest in quality products, strong industry relationships and the development of Australian BMX.

Radio Raceline is the dedicated BMX race division of Radio Bike Co. The brand specialises in high-performance BMX race bikes, frames and components designed for the demands of modern racing. Radio Raceline products are developed with a focus on speed, strength, responsive handling and race-proven performance.

The Radio Raceline WA Team brings together committed Western Australian riders who proudly represent Radio Raceline, BMX International and Freedom Wheels at events throughout the state and across Australia.

Through this partnership, team riders have access to high-quality Radio Raceline equipment, specialist product knowledge, bike setup assistance and dependable mechanical support from Freedom Wheels. This helps riders compete with confidence while using equipment designed specifically for BMX racing.

The team also gives Western Australian riders a stronger connection to a globally recognised BMX race brand and to BMX International, a company that has played an important role in the Australian BMX industry for generations.

We are incredibly proud to represent Radio Raceline and to have the support of BMX International behind the team. Their experience, product knowledge and long-standing commitment to BMX make them an invaluable partner in helping us support riders and grow the sport in Western Australia.
